Going Green
Today's assignment - shoot something green. I remembered the Publix bag and for some reason also the recycle pile we keep in the laundry room. Not only is the Publix bag green, but it lets me go green when shopping since I don't need a plastic bag.

Blowin in the Wind
Someone sang the answer is blowing in the wind. But, I heard (and my son knows this too) that wishes get granted when blowing dandelions. In this picture, the wind blew fluff off of one dandelion. I wonder what the wind wishes?

Green to Flowers
The Daily Shoot decreed today to be the color green day. I love the contrast of the flower buds with the green leaves. The buds have a yellowish green tinge to them. My older son was quick to point the color discrepancy out to me when I told him what today's Daily Shoot theme was. Hopefully, the Daily Shoot will allow a little bit of variation in the color theme. :)

Dumpster Door Secrets
Dumpster. Probably not the most popular picture to blog about.
I am not a pure go green person. We recycle some at home. Milk jugs and cardboard boxes go to the dump (no trash pick up unless we pay for it). Newspapers go into the wood stove in the winter time. We don't have an electric vehicle. I sort of recycle at school.
However, this picture does bother me. What could have been recycled? I know the school throws out an obscene amount of food. Teachers have asked about that, and we were told that the food could not be given to churches or other charity.
Too many more thoughts to put here....

Slotted Green
Today's The Daily Shoot asked people to find a monochrome composition and shoot it. Playgrounds are full of slides, tunnels, and other parts that contain great colors. I picked this great tunnel for my Daily Shoot.
