The assignment was to find as much black as possible and go for oomph, character, and depth. I'm not sure about oomph, but I think the asphalt texture has interesting character to it. The puddle with the cloud and person reflection has depth on a physical level and philosophical (which world is the real reflection?).

I took several shots of myself. The ones taken in the bedroom turned out horribly. I wanted a closer shot of my head but like the ambiguous expression on my face in this picture.

A tree landed across an electric wire, and my high school lost power. Once I got home, I realized I had a good opportunity to take some rain shots. I like this one which shows a reflection of the carport railing the best.
