Clothed Ascending a Staircase

While not a cubist work, I believe this can move on its own merit.

Swinging Emotion

Blue Swing

The Daily Shoot said to take a picture with motion blur. I took several shots of my older son in the swings at Spartanburg Day School. I could not decide between two of them so submitted both. I love the implied and expressed emotion in the pictures.

The Climb

The Climb

This is my younger son who will be two in May. He loves to climb and is talking up a storm as well. The park at James Island near Charleston, SC renovated their park, and my kids love it. Of course, my younger son enjoys playing on the stuff that is meant for the 5-12 crowd. This ladder is part of a huge set that has about seven slides of different configurations (tornado, straight, etc).

Look for angles today (The Daily Shoot). Angles surround everyone everyday. I took several pictures with angles but like this one best. Everyone should play in angles.

The weather is really starting to warm up. It was 70 today. The children were making the most of the nice weather at Spartanburg Day School. Here, some boys wait to see if a thrown ball will make it into the net.

Rounded Corners

The 365 blog is supposed to be about one picture. But, I could not choose between these two. I took both on the way home from work. Both subjects (the stairs and the arrow) have a nice rounded shape. I like the turn arrow better because it lends itself to more meanings.

The stairs are part of a playground set at Spartanburg Day School where my older son attends. The aftercare program is well run, and the women love taking the children outside in any kind of weather (rain, obviously, being the exception).

I snapped the picture of the arrow just for the fun of it as I was sitting at a red light. It wasn't until I got home that the angle was perfect for adding some interesting angles and interpretations to a normal road markings.
