Asphalt Reflection
The assignment was to find as much black as possible and go for oomph, character, and depth. I'm not sure about oomph, but I think the asphalt texture has interesting character to it. The puddle with the cloud and person reflection has depth on a physical level and philosophical (which world is the real reflection?).

Cracked Up a Lot
For some reason, I took a good look at the ground when getting ready to open the car door and realized that the yellow parking line and the cracks in the asphalt made a great shot.
